Minthorn's Milkvetch (Astragalus minthorniae)

General: Minthorn's Milkvetch (Astragalus minthorniae) is a low-growing perennial forb with compound leaves, pea-type flowers, and seed pods. The leaves are reddish (but not always), and the seedpods are hairy.

Around Las Vegas, look for Minthorn's Milkvetch at middle and higher elevations in Red Rock Canyon NCA and up on Mt. Charleston.
