Overview

The Cima Store operates in an historic building north of Kelso at the intersection of three roads: Kelso-Cima Road, Cima Road, and Morningstar Mine Road. The store is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM (as of October 2010). The store provides groceries, ice, and various beverages, but no gasoline.

Even if the store is closed, this historic site is a good landmark for travelers, as everyone traveling to and from Las Vegas through the preserve will pass by this site.

Getting to Cima Store

The Cima Store is located in Mojave National Preserve, about 1-1/4 hours south of Las Vegas. From town, drive south on I-15 into California, and then into the preserve and out towards the Kelso Depot Visitor Center.

Cima Store (Table 1, Site 0831) sits just west of the intersection of Kelso-Cima Road, Cima Road, and Morningstar Mine Road. Stop here, this is the place.
